Autumn Programme 2004

Following the summer break Leigh Folk Club's 2004 autumn season starts on Friday the 24th of September.

"Hi, here we are again ready with some fabulous artists for you to enjoy. Each night at the club commences at 8:15pm. Please bring your friends, spread the word, lets keep our folk club going strong."

Friday 24th of September Captain Cooper's Motley Crew.
"A fabulous folk group to kicl off the second half of the season. They are new to the club but are very higly recommended brillient musicians and vocalists with a wide range of new and familiar songs. You are guarenteed a really good nights entertainment."

Saturday 2nd of October A ONE OFF SPECIAL, Ticket Only.
A Night with "The Oldham Tinkers " hosted by CALICO.
At St. Joseph's Hall, Chapel Street, Leigh, on the 2nd of October.
7:30pm start.
There will be a bar and the promise of a great night of entertainment.

Friday 29th October Pete Coe.
"Pete Coe is someone who we have been trying to book for a number of years and at last we have been successful. He is one of the most talented international folk artists I have ever had the pleasure of seeing and hearing. His strong distintive voice is enhanced by his intrumental versatility. He sings plays and step dances brilliantly, sometimes all at once". A night of entertainment that will leave you shouting MORE!"
Friday 26th Nov Anthony John Clarke.
"Intenational singer and songwriter, back by popular demand. Anthony delighted the audience on his last visit, many if who have 'phoned or e-mailed us to ask for his return, so no sooner said than done. SEE YOU THERE.
Bring your friends along, everyone will be made very welcome."

The folk club venue is the Conservative Club on Railway Road, Leigh on Friday evenings commencing at 8:15pm.
